RAMM exhibition marketing

Concept Development

For the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM), the concept development process ensures that each communication piece—whether a leaflet, billboard, or social media post—reflects the essence of the exhibition it promotes. Drawing directly from exhibition pieces and artworks, the designs are inspired by the themes, colours, and narratives of the showcased collections. This approach creates a strong connection between the promotional materials and the museum experience, sparking curiosity and encouraging visitors to engage with the exhibitions. Every design element, from imagery to copy, is carefully curated to align with the story of the featured artworks, ensuring an authentic and cohesive campaign.

Visual Identity

The visual identity for RAMM’s campaign adheres to the museum's established brand guidelines, which consist of a dynamic palette of bright yellow, black, and white. These colours create a striking, modern aesthetic while maintaining accessibility for diverse audiences. The use of Garamond Pro as the primary font brings a touch of sophistication and timelessness, perfectly complementing RAMM's heritage. To ensure accessibility, text and imagery are designed with clear contrasts, ample spacing, and WCAG-compliant standards. By blending contemporary vibrancy with classical elegance, the campaign captures the unique character of RAMM while ensuring a polished and inclusive visual presence.
